With nearly 15 years’ experience in tertiary and quaternary metropolitan hospitals, followed by four years in private practice, Kim brings extensive expertise to every client.

She has lectured in Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland and supervised countless students throughout her career. Her clinical experience spans the full spectrum - from critically ill patients to those managing long-term conditions, and she has worked with people of all ages, including neonates.

Areas of Expertise
Kim is passionate about cardiorespiratory care and believes people with respiratory conditions deserve ongoing, affordable, high-quality treatment - not just during hospital stays. She has extensive experience in managing:

  • Cystic Fibrosis

  • Bronchiectasis

  • Emphysema

  • Asthma

  • Pneumonia

She supports individuals with cardiac conditions to safely return to activity and reduce the risk of future hospital admissions.

Kim also works closely with clients managing:

  • Motor Neurone Disease

  • Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

  • Cerebral Palsy

  • Guillain-Barré Syndrome

  • Parkinson’s Disease

  • Stroke recovery

Her goal is to partner with clients and their families to improve quality of life and achieve meaningful goals.

Drawing on her hospital background, Kim is highly experienced in recovery following:

  • Orthopaedic surgery

  • Spinal surgery

  • Cardiac procedures

  • Lung procedures

  • Neurological procedures


She also treats a wide range of conditions, including:

  • Back and neck pain

  • Headaches

  • Rotator cuff injuries

  • Knee pain and instability

  • Tennis & golfer’s elbow

  • Sports injuries

  • Ankle instability

  • Antenatal & postnatal care

  • Baby massage & handling

  • Pelvic floor strengthening (non-specialist*)

 
*Whilst Kim can assist with general pelvic floor strengthening for men and women, complex cases will be referred to a qualified pelvic health specialist.


Veterans’ Care
Since moving into private practice, Kim has had the privilege of working with many Veterans - a part of her work that she holds close to her heart.
As the daughter and granddaughter of servicemen, she values the commitment of every Veteran and is dedicated to delivering quality care without time pressure or compromise.


Treatment Techniques & Services
Clients benefit from a comprehensive range of techniques and services, including:

  • Personalised advice and education

  • Joint mobilisations

  • Soft tissue massage & trigger point release

  • Dry needling (similar to acupuncture)

  • Cupping therapy

  • Electrotherapy (Interferential & TENS-type)

  • Therapeutic ultrasound

  • Rigid taping (including rib fractures) & K-taping

  • Tailored exercise programs for strength, flexibility, and balance

  • Secretion mobilisation techniques: percussion, vibrations, autogenic drainage

  • Training with PEP devices

  • Relaxation & breathing retraining

  • Pilates (from December 2025)

  • Equipment supply (purchase or DVA access)

  • Assistance with MASS applications

  • Imaging referrals (e.g. X-rays — may incur out-of-pocket costs unless referred by a GP)


A Little More About Kim
Outside the clinic, she enjoys Muay Thai, karate, hiking, waterfall chasing, painting and drawing. She’s also a self-confessed “crazy cat lady,” proudly entering one of her cats in shows! (He's gorgeous though - can you blame her?)


Pilates - Coming Soon!
From December 2025, Kim will be a fully qualified Pilates instructor, offering small group and 1:1 sessions from her home studio.
